Cinderford Medical Centre is a new medical facility in Gloucestershire. Here we have installed over 40 VRF Heat Recovery fan coil units which will provide heating or cooling, individually to the rooms being provided for. A centralised controller then provides overall control to the system and the units. Individual rooms also have individual wall mounted temperature controllers so that the temperature can be altered as required.
We have supplied and installed a Swegon Air Handling Unit with electric heater battery to provide fresh air ventilation to all areas which are not naturally ventilated. Galvanised steel ductwork system supplies/extracts air to/from the AHUs to/from the floor space.
At the Medical Centre we have supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned the complete pipework water distribution system within the buildings to serve all hot and cold-water outlets and plant equipment. The water supplied to the area is classified ‘Moderately Hard’ so therefore we installed an electromagnetic water conditioning unit on the BCWS water supply to minimise the build-up of scale within the hot and cold domestic water systems.
We supplied and installed a cold-water booster set to provide all domestic water demand within the building, along with a 2500L cold water storage tank. Two domestic hot water systems were also been installed, commissioned, and tested to supply the centre with hot water.
Sourcing and fitting of sanitaryware was a part of this project, which included Janitorial Units, WC Pans, Basins, Taps etc. We also installed electric showers and Franke Kettle Mixer taps to Tea Point Stations.
